The Izod IndyCar Series has announced its 2012 season, which includes a race in China for the first time and a race at Belle Isle in Detroit. As before, the schedule is diverse, with races on temporary street circuits, permanent road courses, superspeedways and short ovals, now in four countries. Also, remember that 2012 features the return of engine manufacturer competition, plus a new universal chassis produced by Dallara.
